RedDirt Grunge

Hello Enemy began their musical journey in 2021 after several members found each other from bands that came to a halt as careers and family took priority.

After finding the missing pieces of the band via the musician networking app Bandmix; things began to pick up, but it wasn't until Dan (Bass) and Skip (vox) began work on their first single 'Degenerate' things really changed.

They knew they were onto something and kept at it.

Things became more fluent and forward moving since the birth of that first single. The band went on to create a slew of singles and an EP. Even as band members may change out, Hello Enemy persisted and continued to create, play shows and more.

"Hit or Miss (Na Na Na)" and "Hey Yeah" serve as a testament to where they are at with their sound right now.

"We've shifted back to what a lot of folks would consider old-school. We don't use a click track, have almost no digital gear outside of recording and aren't trying to hide behind samples or backing tracks to really get to the nucleus of what we're doing. We all lived through the grunge era, so it's ingrained in our psyche and we're not ashamed of that - [ so that's what we do with our own twist on it. We'd love to see a resurgence of bands back into the mainstream so we're doing what we can to add to the scene to help that out. Overall, we've gotten more aggressive with our sound, we want people to feel what we do especially onstage, so we've had to really think about arrangement, melody and dynamics to keep punters interested which can be a challenge as a trio. We've got some ways to go in many respects but as I said, we're loving the process and will be back in the studio next week to start tracking songs for what we hope will become an album." - Hello Enemy

The single, along with all their other releases are available for streaming and download on all major outlets and be band is always working on new materials for upcoming releases.
